LINDA’S BIO

Linda has enjoyed music as a child, her family always played music at home. They would play instruments and sing with her mom when she would play the piano and she also enjoyed dancing with her dad. So you see how a musical family could inspire a person to really want music in their lives.

She decided about nineteen that she wanted to sing, so she took some private lessons and enrolled in school to learn what she could and by learning these skills she also learned something about her own voice. She has been singing for many years and always sang other bands songs. One day she asked her mom and dad how to write songs, they replied by saying, It comes from within you. She didn’t know where to start so she got a book on songwriting and before finishing the first chapter she wrote her first song and on and on It went, until she had so many songs, she was missing one thing…..music. She knew she wanted a harder edge than how she originally wrote the songs, she knew one day it will come.

Linda Fiore has been writing since 1993 and has over 100+ songs written. The love and support from her family and friends keeps her motivated. One day not having found the right people or band to sing for. She answered an ad for a band wanting a singer, this is where she met Tom and he asked her to sing for his band called Split Image. They started writing music together for an original project in 2003 and did not have any other members to form this band yet, until they went to a jam session one night in 2004 and met up with a friend of Tom’s who was a drummer named Bill. They found out he didn’t really have any projects going so they asked if he would like to join Split Image and play drums for them. He thought it would be a lot of fun. After a lot of time and effort a few musicians here and there they started making some headway in forming an original band in 2005. They needed a strong bass player and met a guy by the name of Andy who was just ending a project he was in and didn’t have a band at the time. They asked him to join their band and Forbidden Zone was complete.
